Note: If you are here because of the link on the Buy Me Now page, please see the bottom of this post.
Great News! The second book featuring Jack Tuesday is in the final editing stage. Things have been slower with this book, all due to influences affecting family, a major change at Bear Hill Books, and rewrites. Rewrites are a common and often necessary things in writing. Especially rewriting. Are authors ever finished rewriting? I don't think so. The best thing is to tell yourself that your manuscript is the best thing at the moment, so stop re-thinking. Yes, I know. Easier said than done.
The cover for Tuesday's Gambit is done. A lovely cover. Check out the sidebar on the books page.
Tuesday's Gambit is all about being capable. How much do we rely on another's capability? We often say, "He's not capable of this or that." But we may be surprised at the limits of one's capability when faced with events that test it.
Finally, you may have noticed that when you press on the Buy Me Now logo of BearHill Books, on the Books page, a message appears saying the site is no available. In the meantime until a new link appears, one can order books either through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or from Chapters/Indigo, either online, or take the ISBN number to your local Chapters bookstore and it can be ordered. Sorry for the inconvenience folks. You are all aware that Canada Post is now on strike, so any mail order will be delayed. Who knows how long the strike will last? I am not sure how your local Chapters store has books delivered to them, and they may have their own shipping arrangements. gets books
When the strike is settled, you may also send me an email at fnelsonsmith@gmail.com with an order, at the price quoted online, and I will arrange for a shipment to you from IngramSpark, the book distributor. Ordering the book from them is easier than me sending you one direct. The charge at Canada Post is almost the same price as the book itself.
I thank you for all the support many have given me with reviews, and in general, just being there with encouragement, and interest. We are just about to start another year. It's been tough for many of you. I am grateful for you all, and wish you all the best.
